Pangaea Express: Douglas Clark, CEO of the pCPA

The pCPA Board of Directors recently announced Douglas Clark to be the first CEO of the newly incorporated organization, effective Sept 11. Clark will be working with the Board to create a new strategic plan for the pCPA as an independent organization. The announcement identifies the initial areas of focus for the new CEO will be:

• to share more updates
• formalize pathways to expedite negotiations
• collaborate with various public and private sector partners on initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic priorities

As a reminder, Clark served as the Executive Director of the PMPRB for almost a decade. How the new CEO may alter the negotiation process with manufacturers remains to be seen.
