Pangaea Express: Provinces to Cut Time to Funding for Essential Cancer Medicines

IMC welcomes Canada's Premiers' announcement of a pilot project to reduce the time from Canadian Drug Agency recommendation to public listing for essential cancer drugs. Up to 9 months will be cut to the time for listing.

This news was shared by Premier Doug Ford who hosted the premiers' 2024 Council of the Federation conference held Dec 15/15 in Toronto.

This is definitely welcome news for the many patients waiting for new innovative cancer medicines.
