Administrative Assistant

Dominik Buconjic holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of Victoria. His poetry and essays have been published in This Side of West and The New Twenties. His writing explores the intersections of technology, civilization, and the natural world. He also self-produced his one act play What a Nice Place to Be as part of Intrepid Theatre’s YOU Show to a sold-out run.

He spent three years as an Audio Describer with 3Play Media Canada, formerly National Captioning Canada. During that time, he helped spearhead the development of a new Audio Description department, including onboarding new describers, reviewing the work of contractors for quality control, and establishing best practices and brand standards. As an avid writer, Dominik has a keen eye for detail. From his time as a technical writing and editing consultant, he has the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities while working with clients to help achieve their desired outcomes. His expertise as a creative, paired with his experience and passion for accessibility, allows him to present creative solutions when providing administrative support. Dominik brings his client focus, critical-thinking and regard for quality to the Pangaea Group.
